[email protected] Téléchager le CVYoussef Mnaili is a Post-doctoral Fellow at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University.
A former Eiffel Excellence Scholar, he holds a PhD in Political Science from the European University Institute (2022). He has held research positions at the University of the Witwatersrand, the Central European University, and the University of Gothenburg. His research focuses on state–society relations, indirect governance, and political economy in the Middle East and Africa, and has been published in The Review of International Organizations and Politics & Society. He is the author and editor of two forthcoming books: Indirect Governance and Power Dynamics in the Middle East and North Africa (Edinburgh University Press, 2026) and Between State and Society: Mediating Power in Africa (Amsterdam University Press/Central European University Press, 2026). He also serves as Editor of Settler Colonial Studies and founding editor of the book series Rethinking Governance (Amsterdam University Press/CEU Press). At FGSES, he teaches political science and research methods.
