Driss El Khazzani is an Affiliate Professor at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University.

He is a statistician-economist and doctoral researcher at the Applied Economics Laboratory of the Faculty of Legal, Economic and Social Sciences in Rabat-Agdal. He began his professional career at the HCP, as head of statistical surveys relating to various economic fields. Subsequently, he served as a technical advisor in planning in East Africa within the framework of bilateral cooperation.

At the Ministry of Tourism, he served as Director of Development and Investments, then General Manager of the Moroccan National Tourism Office.

At the beginning of 2000, he joined the Ministry of the Interior where he was successively Governor and Wali of the Region.

He has participated in several studies relating to the evaluation of public policies, the drawing up of tourism development programs and territorial governance.
