Reinforcement through active pedagogy

The adopted pedagogy optimizes the educational effectiveness of regular sessions in the presence of the professor. It gives the student all the necessary time to prepare the session in advance by himself/herself. Professors must therefore provide students before each face-to-face session with all the educational tools and resources that allow them to understand and study the content: textbook chapters, texts, articles, videos, openings on additional questions, but also the framework, the text or the projected presentation that the professor will follow during the session.

pédagogie active

This preparatory phase is essential regarding the pedagogy implemented at the Faculty. During the "course", the student, guided by the professor, works on a subject that he/she has already partially acquired. The professor develops an active pedagogy, based on exchanges with the students, enabling them to acquire the knowledge covered in the preparatory phase by actively mobilizing them. Pedagogy must also be based on innovative teaching technologies and practices: flipped classes, digital tools, video-recorded lessons, MOOCS (Massive Open Online Courses), work in collaborative groups led by the professor, individualized interactive progression with the professor, study and analysis of real cases and situations.

Through such a pedagogical approach, it is a new culture that is developed among students. They become responsible of their own studies. Moreover, regular evaluations in the form of checks are  continuously integrated during face-to-face sessions to encourage students to progress regularly.
