Faiçal Hossaini is an Academic Associate at the Faculty of Governance, Economics and Social Sciences.

He teaches various modules at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, in particular Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Public Finance, and Political Economy. He has also taught monetary economics and econometrics in other universities in Morocco and abroad.

Prior to joining FGSES, Mr. Hossaini worked as an economist at the Economic Department at Bank Al-Maghrib (BAM, Rabat), where he had been building up, for more than ten years, an expertise in the field of monetary policy.

Mr. Hossaini holds a PhD in macroeconomics and a master’s degree in economics. His research interests focus on quantitative macroeconomics, namely the effects of economic policies on the business cycle, in a context of market imperfections. He also works on many economic issues related to developing countries.
