Faiçal Hossaini is an Academic Associate at the Faculty of Governance, Economics and Social Sciences (FGSES).

He teaches a range of undergraduate and graduate courses, including Macroeconomics, Public Finance, and Political Economy. He has also taught Monetary Economics and Econometrics at other universities in Morocco and abroad.

Before joining FGSES, Mr. Hossaini worked as an economist in the Economic Department of Bank Al-Maghrib in Rabat, where he developed, over more than a decade, a strong expertise in economic policy.

He holds a PhD in Macroeconomics and a Master’s degree in Economics. His research focuses on quantitative macroeconomics, particularly the effects of economic policies on business cycles in the presence of market imperfections. He also explores various economic issues relevant to developing countries.
