[email protected] Téléchager le CVAmir Abdul Reda is an Assistant Professor at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University.
His research focuses on civil unrest and migration using data science methods. Currently, he is working on several projects related to protest cycles, subsidy reforms and protests, and migration, some of which are funded by the UK Research and Innovation and Horizon Europe 2020.
At UM6P, his teaching focuses on data science methods for political science (NLP); advanced statistical methods; and public opinion, elections and voting. Amir’s work has appeared or is forthcoming in Sociological Method and Research, Political Studies Review, and the Journal of Information Technology & Politics (amongst others).
He received his PhD in computational political science from the University of Toronto and his B.Sc. in political science from Université de Montréal.
