As part of the book presentation series, Professor Mathieu Charbonneau will present his book “The Evolution of Techniques: Rigidity and Flexibility in Use, Transmission, and Innovation,” on Tuesday, November 5th at 5: 30 p.m.

The book addresses the impacts of both flexibility and rigidity on how techniques are used, transformed, and reconstructed, at varying social and temporal scales.
