Larbi Alaoui is an Affiliate Professor at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University.

He is Associate Professor at Pompeu Fabra University and Affiliate Professor at the Barcelona School of Economics. His primary teaching and research interests are in microeconomic theory, decision theory, behavioral economics, game theory and experimental economics, with additional expertise in applied microeconomics and political economy.

He has published several papers in such journals as the Review of Economic Studies, the Journal of the European Economic Association, the Journal of Economic Theory and the Journal of Political Economy.

Professor Alaoui received his Bachelor of Science in Physics and Mathematics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, his Research Master’s of Science in Economics from the London School of Economics and his PhD from the University of Pennsylvania. He is also recipient of the BBVA Leonardo Grant, the Ramon y Cajal Scholarship and the Juan de la Cierva Scholarship, among other honors, fellowships and scholarships.
