[email protected] Téléchager le CVAbdelkabir Kamili is an Academic Assistant at the Faculty of Governance, Economics and Social Sciences (FGSES).
He teaches National Accounting and Macroeconomic Aggregates, as well as Global Public Goods and International Aid. He also leads seminars and bootcamps on applied economics and runs workshops on digital tools for text and visual production. He holds a PhD in Economic and Social Sciences Applied to Agriculture from the Hassan II Agronomic and Veterinary Institute (IAV Hassan II), a master’s degree in Fisheries Economics and Management from the University of Barcelona, and a State Engineer diploma in Rural Economics from the National School of Agriculture in Meknes.
With 18 years of experience at the National Fisheries Research Institute (INRH), Kamili specializes in bioeconomic and computable general equilibrium (CGE) modeling. His work has contributed to numerous studies on small-scale and coastal fisheries, including Morocco’s small pelagic sector, where he has examined its structure and socio-economic performance (INRH, 2019). Notable publications include Moroccan Fishery Production System and Its Global Dependencies (OCP Policy Center, 2018) and several articles in the Moroccan Journal of Agronomic and Veterinary Sciences. His recent works include Integrated Modeling for Sustainable Fisheries in Morocco (Environment, Development and Sustainability, 2024) and Segmental Conflicts and Sustainability in African Fisheries (in the Annual Report on the African Economy, 2025), which highlight his commitment to sustainability. He has also contributed to FAO projects, including Cross-Border Fish Trade in the CCMLE Area (2015), and has published in FAO proceedings on the bioeconomy and management of the small pelagic fishery in the Moroccan Central Atlantic (2011), further advancing discussions on fisheries economics and sustainability.
