Since March 2018, he is Senior Fellow at the Policy Center for the New South where he focuses on Geopolitics and International Relations issues. He is also professor at the National School of Business and Management, Ibn Toufaïl University where he teaches Geopolitics since 2012.
Jamal Machrouh is lecturer at the Royal College of Advanced Military Studies of Kénitra and at Södertörn University of Stockholm, Sweden.
Prof. Machrouh received his PhD in March 2007 at Tours University, France under the theme “The Status of Developing Countries under the World Trade Organization Dispute Settlement System”. He started his career as administrator at the High Court of Audit, Rabat. From 2017 to 2021, Jamal Machrouh was a member of the Jury for the “Concours National d’Agrégation”, Ministry of National Education and Professor and trainer at the Moroccan Academy of Diplomatic Studies from 2019 to 2024.
He is the author of a book titled Justice and Development under World Trade Organization (2008), coordinator of the book, The Strategic Challenges of the Maritime Spaces of Atlantic Africa (2025) and the author of various articles dealing with international relations and geopolitics.
